In order to raise funds to replace the wooden fence at the front of the park (it is rotting and a home to too many carpenter bees) we will be holding TWO significant fund raising (AND FUN) events...one in August and one in September. In addition to raising money, it will also a great time to get together with other dog-loving people and your dog!

We're back with another epic Evening of (Animal)Trivia. Tickets are limited so be sure to get them soon on Eventbrite!

Come and join us for Bark For The Park, an evening of animal trivia on Mon, August 17, 2026 at 6:30 PM at Ragged Island Brewing Company! We will open at 6pm in the Trivia Tent near the barn...with trivia starting at 6:30pm. Bring your furry friends and join us for a fun evening Tickets are $15 each (well-behaved dogs are free!) and only a limited number of tickets will be sold. ALL proceeds will go toward replacing the wooden fencing at the front of the park with the same black chain link fencing as the rest of the park!

NO alcoholic beverage can be carried into the venue. Beer, sodas and snacks will be sold on site and there will be a fabulous food truck, W’s Mobile Wood Fired Pizza Oven, just outside!

We will be selling our brand new stainless steel Portsmouth Dog Park mugs as well as dog park clothing (T-shirts, sweatshirts and hats). We will also have wonderful basket raffle for which you can purchase tickets ($5 for 1 ticket and 10 tickets for $25). We will also have a SPECIAL raffle item for which we will start selling tickets at the Trivia Event and then continue at our special NEW fundraiser in September (stay tuned). The drawing for that special raffle will be in at the September Event...but you can purchase tickets at Trivia!

Clothing sales and raffle tickets will be sold with cash and Venmo only…no credit/debit cards accepted.

On Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10AM until 2PM, we will have our inaugural Paws The Park Event. It will be held at the Dog Park and will include lots of activities in which you and your dog can both participate! Can your dog become the next Picasso? Is your dog an agility king/queen? Would you like a photo portrait of you and your dog? Purchase your Dog Park mugs and clothing! Stay tuned and join us to celebrate your dog and the fall!
