In order to raise funds to replace the red wooden fence at the front of the park (it is rotting and a home to too many carpenter bees) we will be holding our second significant fund raising (AND FUN) event! In addition to raising money, it will also a great time to get together with other dog-loving people and your dog! Like a FALL FESTIVAL!

Saturday, september 26 paws in the park 10am-2pm

Our inaugural Paws The Park Event will be a FAMILY FRIENDLY event held at the Dog Park and will include lots of activities in which you, your family and your dog can participate! Can your dog become the next Picasso at Lick Art? Try your hand at the Poop Bag Toss (think cornhole!) How about a doggie Kissing Booth? Purchase your Dog Park mugs and clothing and new dog themed jewelry! "Ask the Trainer" for help with your dog challenges. There will be an amazing raffle and several dog themed businesses will be there. Stay tuned and this list will be updated soon...see below and keep checking back! Join us to celebrate your dog and the Fall!

Admission to the park during that time will be a voluntary donation of $2 each person or $5 for a family. Tickets will be sold for $1 each or 25 tickets for $20 to use for the Poop Toss (2 tickets), the Lick Art (4 tickets), the Kissing Booth (2 tickets) and other fun activities! Raffle tickets will be $5 each or 10 for $25!

Admission costs and tickets for events can be paid in cash or using Venmo. Clothing sales and raffle tickets will be sold with cash and Venmo only…no credit/debit cards accepted.

Guest businesses will use their normal forms of payments.

Buttercup Barkery: a RI small business offering homemade dog treats and completely customizable pet bandanas

PDP Raffle: a garden cart filled with tools and garden themed gifts (value $500) and several other basket raffles. Tickets pulled at 1:45pm but you don't have to be present to win! (tickets are $5 for 1 and $25 for 10 - cash, check or Venmo only)

PDP Clothing sales: t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats mugs and A NEW ITEM...dog themed earrings! (cash, check or Venmo only)

"Ask the Trainer": from 12:30pm to 2pm, there will a professional dog trainer (Eye to Eye Training) available for 5 minute conversations offering training advice for YOUR dog.

"Lick Art": Your dog creates it's own art work with the help of peanut butter or cream cheese. They make great gifts or Christmas Ornaments!

Poop Bag Toss: Cornhole...with a twist!

Kissing Booth: A (or maybe several) truly lovely dog(s) who loves to kiss people will be more than ready to spread the love!
